On December 21, 2020, the flag-raising ceremony at Zhuhai Yinghua Cambridge International School was presided over by Liu Guang and Qu Minghui from Class A2. Following the ceremony, Justin delivered a speech on "Time Management," and Principal Yang Xiaofeng gave a concluding speech.

Time management involves using skills, techniques, and tools to help people complete tasks and achieve goals. It's not about doing everything, but about using time more effectively. The purpose of time management is not only to decide what you should do and prioritize tasks, but also, and importantly, to decide what you shouldn't do. Therefore, time management is a science and an art.

Justin offered the following suggestions on how to use time more efficiently:

1. Record how you actually spend your time

2. Identify and reduce “time-wasters”

3. Set up your goal

4. Set up a timetable

5. Track your progress and refine your schedule

Principal Yang Xiaofeng stated that an 11-day Christmas holiday is approaching. While the break is exciting, safety should remain a top priority. Holiday safety is a concern for schools, parents, and society. Given the current pandemic situation, Principal Yang Xiaofeng advised against long-distance travel. If travel is necessary, he suggested choosing nearby scenic spots and taking personal protective measures to ensure health and safety.

Furthermore, Principal Yang Xiaofeng agreed with Justin's views on time management and encouraged students to create holiday study plans. Based on their current academic performance, students should set learning goals for each subject, participate in social activities or competitions, and prepare for college applications. Finally, Principal Yang Xiaofeng wished the students continued success in their future endeavors.
