To promote mental health knowledge, help students master scientific emotional management methods, and guide students to grow up healthily and happily, Zhuhai Yinghua Cambridge International School invited Ms. Wan Xiaoli, a deputy to the Zhuhai People's Congress and president of the Zhuhai Xiangzhou District Psychological Association, to give a special lecture on "How to Be the Master of Your Emotions" on the afternoon of November 20th.

During the lecture, Ms. Wan Xiaoli used a small warm-up game to divide the children into groups and guided each group to form a circle, selecting a representative to share emotional problems they encountered in their lives.

Ms. Wan Xiaoli asked the children several questions: Why did a certain emotion arise? What does the emergence of this emotion indicate? How did you cope after the emotion arose? The children present actively answered the teacher's questions, and the interaction between them and Ms. Wan Xiaoli was very interesting.

Ms. Wan Xiaoli chatted freely with the children, and the teacher-student atmosphere was very harmonious. The children also said that they benefited a lot from this lecture.

Finally, Ms. Wan Xiaoli told the children three good ways to shift emotions: venting, changing one's mind, and shifting attention; she told the students that to manage themselves well, the most important thing is to manage their thoughts, control their emotions, and maintain an optimistic and positive attitude.

Although the lecture is over, our school's work on children's mental health construction is far from over. Helping children solve fundamental problems such as emotional management, paying attention to cultivating their IQ and EQ, and becoming elite talents under the whole-person education. Zhuhai Yinghua Cambridge International School will hold more meaningful activities to help children's happy growth!
