Mathematics (40 minutes)
Scope of Examination: Core Mathematics Concepts for Junior High School (Algebra, Geometry, Functions, and Probability Fundamentals)
Question type: Multiple-choice questions, fill-in-the-blank questions, and problem-solving questions
Difficulty: Equivalent to the junior high school entrance exam, with an emphasis on logical reasoning and practical application skills.
Exam Preparation Tips: Review junior high school math formulas, work through a few sets of practice tests to keep your skills sharp, and pay close attention to calculation accuracy.
English (40 minutes)
Scope of Examination: Vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, writing
Difficulty: Benchmarking at IELTS 5.0–5.5 or elevating English proficiency to the level of the high school entrance exam.
Question type:
Grammar and Vocabulary Multiple-Choice Questions
Cloze Test
Reading Comprehension (2–3 passages, including nonfiction texts)
Short Essay Writing (100–150 words, with topics closely related to everyday life)
Exam Preparation Tips: Before the exam, read one English article each day to build up a repertoire of common expressions; also prepare 1–2 pieces of writing material based on your personal experiences.
English Speaking Interview (10–15 minutes)
Form: One-on-one communication with a foreign teacher or a senior Chinese teacher.
Key examination points:

Personal interests, learning motivation, and future plans
Understanding and Adaptation Potential in International Education
Exam Preparation Tips:
Prepare a one-minute self-introduction in advance—of course, without memorizing it.
Relax and treat it like a casual chat.
If you didn’t hear the question clearly, politely ask the examiner to repeat it (“Could you please repeat that?”).
There’s no right or wrong answer; the most important thing is to express your genuine thoughts and a positive attitude.
03 Examination Venue and Examination Guidelines
Examination Venue: No. 1, Pingxi Road, Nanping Town, Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai City
Important Notes for Candidates:
Items to bring:
Black ballpoint pen, pencil, eraser, ruler, and calculator
Water bottle, jacket (the exam room may be air-conditioned quite strongly)
Mobile phones, smartwatches, and other electronic devices may be kept by parents or proctors.
Time requirement:
Arrive at the examination venue before 1:20 PM, check in, and inspect the examination room.
The interview order will follow the check-in sequence. Please plan your waiting time accordingly.
Attire: Neat and presentable is sufficient; formal wear is not required.
Parental Arrangements:
Parents may wait in the lounge, where admissions officers will be available to answer any questions.

Post-exam arrangements
Results Announcement: Parents will be notified by email or phone within 1–2 business days after the exam.
Interview results: To be announced together with the written exam scores.
Admission Notification: Successful applicants will receive an Admission Letter and be invited to attend a subsequent parent information session.
