Flag-raising speech | Reflection
On January 4, 2021, the flag-raising ceremony at Zhuhai Yinghua International Education Center was hosted by students Ouyang Duo and Zeng Haoming from class G1-1. Following the ceremony, Chief Administrator Philip delivered a speech titled "Reflection", and Principal Yang Xiaofeng gave a concluding speech.

Headmaster Philip began by posing three questions:
- What have WE done in the Year 2020?
- How much have WE done and achieved then?
- Lastly, what have WE not learned?
He mentioned that some students had not made reasonable use of their time during the New Year's holiday for study and review, to make up for knowledge gaps. With the end-of-term exams and A-level exams approaching, Headmaster Philip urged students to seize every day before the exams, not to give up a single second, and to achieve an overtaking victory! AS and A2 students, in particular, were encouraged to study hard and make the most of every minute, using today's efforts to compensate for yesterday's shortcomings.
Principal Yang Xiaofeng first mentioned that the school's name had been changed to "Zhuhai Yinghua International Education Center." He explained that since Yinghua students would not necessarily all attend universities in the UK, and judging from the past three graduating classes, they had gone to universities in the UK, the US, Canada, Singapore, Japan, and Australia, the previous school name including "Cambridge" felt somewhat restrictive. Principal Yang hoped that the future footprints of Yinghua students would extend to top universities around the globe.
Furthermore, Principal Yang Xiaofeng agreed with Headmaster Philip's speech and also hoped that the students would set goals for themselves. He believed that a person without goals is like a ship lost at sea, unable to reach the other shore of success. Principal Yang hoped that students would establish their direction of effort and short-term goals, growing and achieving success through continuous self-improvement.
Following the flag-raising speech, Principal Yang Xiaofeng and Headmaster Philip presented awards to the winners of the model aircraft competition and the school's internal football competition. The following are the award-winning students and classes:
