2025 Spring and Autumn Enrollment Brochure for the Program

 

       Zhuhai Oriental Foreign Language Experimental School's Yinghua International Program currently offers two international programs: the internationally acclaimed A-LEVEL (British high school program) authorized by the British Edexcel Examination Board, the British Oxford AQA Examination Board, and the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS), and the HKDSE (Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education) program officially launched in 2020. This caters to students' needs for tertiary education in Hong Kong and Macau. Our school is currently the only school in Zhuhai offering the HKDSE program. The program is open to students nationwide, regardless of household registration, and also accepts eligible students from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and foreign countries.

Yang Xiaofeng Mark, School Supervisor Current School Supervisor of the Yinghua International Program at Zhuhai Oriental Foreign Language Experimental School. An international education expert, he has served as Assistant Principal, Student Affairs Director, Admissions Director of Shenzhen University Affiliated School International High School, Admissions Director of Shenzhen Kangqiao Academy International Department, Operations Director of Shenzhen Ivy League Education, General Manager of Yiteng International Education, and Principal of Yichang No.1 Middle School Cambridge Center. He has led his team to help international students in Shanghai, Hubei, and other places apply to prestigious universities such as Oxford and Cambridge in the UK, top 50 universities in the US, and universities in Australia, Canada, and Hong Kong. He is particularly skilled in study abroad planning and student psychological counseling.		Xian Yonghong Peter, Executive Principal Bachelor of English Literature, Master of Education, Senior Instructor in Child Psychology and Emotional Intelligence, and Family-School Experiential Education Expert. He has served as the director of the international department and head of the English department in two international schools in Dongguan, and the admissions director and language center director of Zhuhai Dulwich International High School. With over 20 years of experience in frontline teaching, management, and school administration, he is particularly skilled in student service management, school-family communication, and parent-child relationship education counseling. He has profound expertise in native English learning, the establishment and management of international education systems, and joint school-family education.

HKDSE  

Three-year Hong Kong College Entrance Examination Program

The full name of the HKDSE examination is the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE), also known as the "Hong Kong College Entrance Examination", It is the only international examination that allows answers in simplified Chinese (except for the English Language subject), with 70%-80% of the knowledge points overlapping with those in mainland high school courses. Therefore, students with a solid foundation have a significant advantage when studying the DSE curriculum, making it the most suitable international curriculum for mainland students. Candidates are not restricted by school registration, and mainland students can use DSE results to apply to world-renowned universities in numerous countries and regions, including Hong Kong, the UK, the US, Australia, Canada, and Singapore. Hong Kong students (holding a Hong Kong identity card + Home Return Permit) can directly apply to mainland Chinese universities through the "admission without examination plan" using their diploma examination results and joint admissions with overseas universities.

A-level

Three ~Four-year British High School Program

The IGCSE curriculum is typically suitable for students in grades 10-11. It is a preparatory high school curriculum specifically designed for international students outside the UK and is currently the most mature international curriculum system recognized worldwide. The IGCSE curriculum uses a fully English-taught model, and students can choose at least 5 basic subjects based on their interests and future goals. After completing the two-year IGCSE curriculum in grade 11, students will enter the A-Level stage.

In the final two years of the A-Level program, students will choose their best 3-4 subjects for university applications. A-Level results are widely recognized globally and can be used to apply to nearly 10,000 universities in over 160 countries and regions, including the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, and Hong Kong.

 

 

The school has a university guidance office. In the first semester after students enroll, university guidance counselors will establish a personal file for each student, and tailor a university planning based on the student's personality traits, interests, aspirations, and career inclinations.

At the same time, comprehensive information and assistance are provided for professional exploration and study abroad planning, including school and major introductions, admission requirements, application procedures, fee standards, etc., and guidance and assistance are provided to students in university applications, visa processing, and enrollment preparation. Sufficient preparation for university applications is made in advance to ensure that every Yinghua student can be admitted to their ideal university.

  

Recruiting eligible students planning to study abroad (regardless of household registration and nationality).

Enrollment Grades: A-Level program: G1, G2, AS, A2 grades; HKDSE program: Grade 11, Grade 12, Grade 13.

Enrollment Quota: HKDSE & A-Level programs: 30 students for Spring 2025, 80 students for Autumn 2025.

 

Examination Subjects and Duration:

Written Examination: English, Mathematics (40 minutes each)

Interview: English oral and comprehensive assessment (10 minutes)

The admission examination lasts 90 minutes in total.

 

Transfer students need to provide the school with their school transcript (academic results), participate in and pass the school's admission examination written test and comprehensive interview, and will be admitted based on their school results, written test results, and comprehensive interview results.

 

Yinghua focuses on discovering students' learning talents and providing personalized education. The "Zhuhai Yinghua Elite Students Project" aims to cultivate international elite talents. It provides students with tailor-made special courses that meet the admission requirements of elite universities, offering comprehensive support in areas such as path planning, curriculum system, background enhancement, university application, entrance examinations, and interviews. This helps Yinghua students successfully apply to and enroll in global elite universities such as Oxford University, Cambridge University, G5 universities, the Ivy League, and the Russell Group.
