Parents Meeting of Mid-Semester

The mid-term parents meeting for the first semester of 2021-2022 was held under the theme of "Working hand in hand, towards a brighter future." Unlike previous meetings, this one included a reintroduction of our six colleges to parents of both new and returning students; discussions on how to further optimize the combination of school and home education; and in-depth discussions and exchanges on how to provide dedicated support and continuously upgrade our educational philosophy to achieve a brighter future for our students.

 

In the spirit that student families and our school come to embrace each other, and go toward a positive and bright future, the parents meeting of school year of 2021-2022 is warmly held. The new highlights of this meeting re-introduced six colleges of our school. These colleges optimize the cooperation between parents and school. And, they increase quality time to be with students and continuously upgrade our educational philosophy thus achieving bright future for each student.

Marking the start of Yinghua's second four-year period, Principal Peter shared Yinghua's educational mission with parents, focusing on "assured education." Our second four-year development plan will prioritize campus culture planning, school system planning, school information resource planning, student academic growth planning, and spiritual growth planning. Yinghua hopes to grow together with parents, sharing a sense of responsibility and mission, and moving forward together.

 

The primary feature of this program is increasing quality time to be with students. This feature simultaneously leads to bright future both for students and the school. Beliefs demonstrated after this parents meeting will further join our parents and the school in our common goals. Parents and Yinghua will become the best partners in educating our children to be very patriotic as well as having global view whereby they arrive very capable to enter into the university of their wishes.

 

 

Academic Principal Tom outlined the administration's determination and strategies for academic management in four areas: First, the Academic Principal will be actively involved in frontline teaching; second, the implementation of Yinghua's internal international subject competitions; third, the implementation of Yinghua's student mentorship program, with responsibility assigned to each teacher and student; and fourth, the introduction of a teacher teaching skills competition and performance appraisal system to ensure that teaching services and quality are our sole pursuit. Thank you to all parents for your trust in Yinghua; we will do our utmost!

 

Academic Principle Tom delivered a speech on our determination and strategy in four aspects regarding academic management. The first is Academic Principle himself would teach students at the teaching front line; the second is to carry out internal competition on various subjects at the international level; the third is an academic mentor program, whereby each student is assigned an academic mentor. The fourth is to introduce competition of teaching ability among teachers and KPI to evaluate teachers’ work, assure our goal on educational service and quality. Great Thanks for the trust from parents! We will completely devote ourselves in this principled path.

To provide Yinghua students with comprehensive support and guidance, in addition to academic improvement, we also focus on the development of their overall qualities. The establishment of these six colleges aims to empower our students. The Future College and Creative Writing College can better assist students in choosing their future majors; the Manner College, Growth College, and Critical Thinking College can improve students' overall abilities; and the Parents College is key to the joint growth of parents and the school, working together for the growth of our children.

 

In addition to the improvement in academic ability, we provide comprehensive support and guidance to build student capability in all directions. The purpose of the six colleges of Yinghua Cambridge International School is to develop all around abilities of students. Future College and Creative Writing College provides assistance for the student in making choices for his or her future study at the university. Critical Thinking College, Growth College and Manner College help students to improve their overall problem-solving ability. Parents College is the key for parents and the school to grow together, by working hand-in-hand working for the enhancement of children’s better growth.

Class Sharing and Exchange

Working Together, Protecting Growth

Following the group lecture and awards ceremony, parents moved to their respective classrooms for class-specific parent meetings. Each class discussed student learning and life situations and the direction of "parents and school working together to protect student growth." Through this parent meeting, Yinghua hopes that students will grow positively within the collective and that their learning and life will become richer and more colorful.

 

Following the speeches and school awards ceremony, parents returned to their children's classrooms for discussions. Each class collaboratively identified current student goals, guided by the principle of 'parents and school working hand-in-hand to nurture student growth.' More specific issues were then addressed. Through this parent meeting, Yinghua Cambridge International School aims to foster students' positive development and enrich their school experience.

 

Dedicated companionship, mutual achievement. We believe this parent meeting will foster a deeper connection between home and school. Let us work together as the best partners in education, nurturing children with a love for China and a global perspective.
