Opening Remarks
Good morning, parents, teachers, and students,
Thank you for joining us this morning. It’s heartening to see so many familiar faces and to welcome new ones. As the academic principal of Yinghua Academy, it is my pleasure to engage with you and discuss the exciting journey our students have been undertaking so far this year.
First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for your unwavering support and involvement in our school community. Education is a partnership, and your presence here exemplifies your commitment to your children’s success.
Although I am a newly positioned academic principal, I have been working at Yinghua since its establishment. Despite knowing Yinghua for more than seven years, I would still question myself: “Our campus is not as fancy as our competitors’. Our academic track records are not as impressive. So, what makes Yinghua stand out?” Eventually, I got the answer from my student Antwoine. Antwoine had only been transferred to Yinghua from another international school last August. In a recent conversation with him, he was very appreciative about what Yinghua had been providing for him including the amount of attention he got from our teachers which was something he never had in his previous school due to his low-ranking status. In Yinghua, regardless of a student’s academic performance or character, we do not discriminate and we always try our best to deliver our education and services to each student to the highest standard even with limited resources.
In order to further improve our teaching standards and student performance, this year, we emphasize on the notion of "Growing Together." We are focused on not just academic excellence but on cultivating a nurturing environment where both our students and faculty members can thrive socially, emotionally, and intellectually. Our dedicated teachers and staff have been working hard on developing innovative programmes that foster critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
We are excited to introduce several new and revival initiatives, including the Elite programme, the World Education Learning Community (WELC), International Academic competitions, and career exploring events. These activities are designed to prepare our students and teachers for the challenges of tomorrow while nurturing their individual passions and interests.
I also want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of communication. We are committed to keeping you informed and engaged through regular updates via social media and instant message groups. Please ensure you check your social media groups on a daily basis so you don’t miss out on any important events.
Lastly, I encourage each of you to take this opportunity to have in-depth conversation with our teachers later, especially focus on the performance and attitude of your children at school. Your involvement makes a significant difference in our school culture and your child's experience.
Thank you once again for your commitment to our school and our students. Together, let us continue to foster an environment that empowers and inspires our children. I look forward to working with each of you this year.
Thank you!
Good morning, parents, teachers, and students:
Thank you all for attending our mid-term parent meeting today. It’s wonderful to see so many familiar faces, and we also welcome the new students and parents this semester. As the academic principal of Yinghua Academy, I am honored to share with you our academic experiences and campus life so far this year.
First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all parents for their active participation in school activities and their strong support for our educational work. Education is a partnership, and your presence here demonstrates your concern and attention to your children’s education.
I have been working at Yinghua since its establishment, growing with the school. I often ask myself: “We don’t have a luxurious campus, nor do we have outstanding academic achievements. So, what makes Yinghua stand out and gain the favor and recognition of many students and parents?” Recently, I got the answer from my student Anthoine. Anthoine was not very good at his studies and was not valued at his previous international school, so he decided to transfer to Yinghua last August. In a recent conversation with him, he was very grateful for everything Yinghua had provided him, especially the attention and care he received from our teachers. At Yinghua, regardless of a student’s academic performance or behavior, we treat everyone equally. Even with limited resources, we will do our best to provide the best educational services to every student!
In order to further improve our teaching standards and students’ academic performance and overall abilities, this year we emphasize the concept of "Growing Together." We not only focus on academic excellence but also on creating a nurturing environment where all educators aim to cultivate students’ critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills. We have been committed to developing innovative programs to allow teachers and students to continuously develop and grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually.
We are pleased to launch several new and relaunched initiatives, including the Elite Program, the World Education Learning Community ( WELC), international academic competitions, and career planning events. These activities are designed to enhance the overall abilities of our teachers and students, cultivate a wide range of interests and hobbies, and lay a solid foundation for meeting the challenges of the future. At the same time, I would like to emphasize the importance of communication. We regularly provide updates on our campus life through social media and instant messaging, and we welcome your participation. Please make sure to check your social media groups daily to avoid missing any important information and events.
Finally, I encourage everyone to take this opportunity to have an in-depth conversation with our teachers, especially focusing on your children’s performance and studies at school. Your active participation is the best encouragement for your children and the greatest affirmation of our educational work. Let us work together to pave the way for our children’s future success. May we work together with one heart and one mind, do a good job in education, live up to our responsibilities, and live up to our youth!
Thank you!

Student Representative Speech
Hello, everyone.
I'm Jeremy from AS. I'm glad to be here and delivering a speech. I have just transferred to YINGHUA this August. I went to school immediately after I came back from England. Subsequently, I don't have enough time to deal with jet lag, and everything seems like a tremendous challenge for me. Therefore, I queried myself whether I could adjust to a new environment and integrate into a new class family. But now I can say I'm proud of my original decision to transfer here.
About the study, our school offers a customized plan for every student. It can stimulate the potential of students to achieve their goals. It actually helps me a lot.
About our teacher, all the teachers are responsible and enthusiastic. I love them all as they always help me, especially my head teacher Kento. He really supports me a lot with my study and daily life.
Furthermore, I enjoyed the relationship between teachers and students. In class, I regard the teachers as teachers. However, after school, I regard the teachers as my friends. Take an example, I'm quite passionate about basketball, and you'll see me on the court everyday. I usually play basketball with my PE teacher who changes from 'sir' to 'dude' after class. Also, when we have basketball shooting competition, and I usually beat him. Don't tell him!
I hope you enjoy the rest of this parents meeting. Thanks for listening, and have a great day. Cheers!
Hello everyone, I am Lin Wenran from AS class. I am honored to speak here today as a student representative. In August this year, I transferred to the Yinghua International Curriculum Program. Before that, I had just returned from England. Immediately afterwards, I went straight to school, so I didn't have enough time to adjust to the time difference. In this situation, everything seemed like a huge challenge to me. Therefore, during that time, I often questioned myself whether I could adapt to the new environment; whether I could integrate into this new family. Now I can proudly say that my decision to transfer was the right one.
Regarding studies, our school provides a personalized plan for each student, which can maximize the potential of students and help us achieve our goals. This has really helped me a lot.
Regarding teachers, every teacher is very responsible and enthusiastic. I get along very well with the teachers, and I feel their care everywhere. Especially my head teacher Kento, he has given me a lot of support in both my studies and life.
In addition, I also really like the teacher-student relationship here. In class, we regard teachers as teachers who teach us how to fish. After class, we regard teachers as our good friends. For example, I am an avid basketball fan. If you also like to play basketball, you will see me on the basketball court every afternoon. Because we all go to play. We become friends through basketball, and I often play basketball with our PE teacher, and the respectful title in class becomes a brother on the court. We also often have shooting competitions. Psst! Don't tell him, I'll tell you that I often win.
I hope you all enjoy the rest of the parent-teacher meeting. Thank you for listening, and have a great day!
Class Exchange
In the final session, the head teachers of each class held class exchange meetings to introduce the overall situation of the class since the new semester to the parents, summarizing the students' classroom performance, homework completion, daily test scores, mid-term exam scores, etc. Subject teachers combined the actual situation to conduct in-depth communication with parents about their children's academic performance, and also conducted interactive exchanges on how to correctly guide children to cultivate good learning and behavioral habits and safety awareness.
Working together to cultivate a bright future for our children ! Foresee the future, meet a better self.
