The golden autumn brings refreshing coolness, and youth soars with vitality. Recently, Zhuhai Oriental Foreign Language Experimental School and the Yinghua International Division jointly held the 33rd Athletics Meet and a series of Sports & Science & Technology Festival events in grand style. Teachers and students from across the school enthusiastically participated, together creating a vibrant and united campus celebration full of energy and positivity.
This year’s event is themed “Vibrant Campus, United in Our Journey,” aiming to promote the integration of sportsmanship and technological creativity, enrich the campus cultural life of teachers and students, and strengthen group cohesion. The event includes various segments such as the Student Track and Field Meet and Fun Sports for Faculty and Staff, showcasing the spirit of initiative, collaboration, and hard work among teachers and students at the Oriental Foreign Language Experimental School.
Student Sports Meet
The sports meet kicked off with a solemn opening ceremony. Each contingent, full of vigor and with perfectly synchronized steps, marched past the rostrum one after another, showcasing the unique charm of each grade and team. The flag-raising ceremony was solemn and dignified; as the national flag slowly rose, all teachers and students sang the national anthem together, filling their hearts with patriotic fervor.
Subsequently, various track and field events unfolded in an orderly manner. Athletes poured out their sweat on the running tracks, leaped with all their might before the sand pits, and threw with every ounce of strength in the throwing areas... Each sprint, each relay, each shout—every single moment embodied the power of hard work and unity. The stands were filled with continuous applause and cheers, and the campus brimmed with youthful energy and enthusiasm.
Faculty and Staff Sports Meet
To enhance emotional communication among faculty and staff, the school simultaneously organized a fun sports meet. Teams from various grade levels, the administrative and后勤 support group, the International Department, and other units actively participated, working together in harmony and demonstrating seamless cooperation in events such as “Caterpillar Race,” “Waist-Hugging Relay,” and “50-Meter Head-to-Head Relay.” Temporarily setting aside their busy work schedules, the teachers relaxed both body and mind through sports, revealing another side of themselves beyond the classroom.
Laughter echoed throughout the event venue, and the atmosphere was vibrant and enthusiastic. Through light-hearted and engaging competitions, faculty and staff not only got a good workout but also strengthened their team cohesion, fostering a harmonious, amicable, and positive campus environment.
This event not only strengthened the physical health of teachers and students but also fostered positive energy on campus, showcasing the school’s well-rounded development and vibrant, upward-looking educational ethos.
In the future, Yinghua will continue to promote the deep integration of sports and culture, creating more platforms for teachers and students to showcase themselves and grow collaboratively, and together write an even more exciting chapter in our campus life.
