On the morning of April 8, a warm and uplifting spirit filled the campus of Zhuhai Yinghua International Education. With the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination just around the corner, our students were fully prepared and ready to head to the exam halls. School leaders and teachers gathered at the departure ceremony to offer their sincerest wishes to the students.

Principal’s Message: To the Future, to Perseverance

At the send-off ceremony, the principal addressed the students, who were neatly dressed and ready to depart, with a brief yet heartfelt speech. Although it is impossible to reproduce every word, that earnest hope continues to resonate in the hearts of both teachers and students to this day—

He talked about Future That is the vast horizon that belongs to every Yinghua student—a distant destination that one will ultimately reach through hard work. He encouraged everyone by saying that this exam is not the end, but rather the starting point on the journey toward a more exciting life. No matter the outcome, as long as you give it your all, the future holds limitless possibilities.

He also repeatedly urged everyone. Take the exam well. Adjust your mindset, remain calm and composed in the face of the challenge, and let the knowledge and skills you’ve cultivated in everyday study translate into poise and confidence on the exam paper. He believes that every Yinghua student who walks into the examination hall truly deserves to be described as “confident and well-prepared.”

The principal’s words were brief, yet each one struck a chord in the hearts of the students. There was no flowery rhetoric—only the most sincere care and unwavering trust of a teacher.

Some students even wrote, “On the path of learning, I stride boldly,” a testament to the confidence and carefree spirit that truly capture the daily striving of Yinghua students.

From the moment the group assembled to the moment they boarded the bus and set off, the teachers were by their side every step of the way. A hug, a high-five, or a simple “You’ve got this!”—each gesture became an invisible source of strength. As one homeroom teacher joked with a smile, “If you get every single question right that you normally know how to answer, that’s victory.” It’s simple, yet profoundly practical.
