Hello! Thank you for your continued support and cooperation with the school's work. According to the Yinghua school calendar, the following is a notice regarding the 2024 Mid-Autumn Festival holiday time and precautions:

Holiday Time:

September 15th to 17th, 2024, a total of 3 days.

Departure Time:

Students will leave school at 2:30 PM on Saturday, September 14th.

Return Time:

Boarding students need to return to school on the evening of Tuesday, September 17th, to attend evening self-study;

Day students need to return to school for classes at the normal time on Wednesday morning, September 18th.

 

 

Holiday Precautions/Holiday Precautions

 

1. Traffic Safety

Before going out, inform family, classmates, or friends, and try to travel in groups. Strictly abide by traffic rules, walk on sidewalks, learn to avoid motor vehicles, and do not compete with motor vehicles for roads. Do not take unlicensed, unregistered, or overloaded vehicles to avoid unnecessary traffic accidents. When traveling, familiarize yourself with the surrounding environment, especially the evacuation routes, in hotels and crowded places. Maintain order at exits and corridors in crowded places to prevent crowding and trampling.

2. Fire Safety

During the holiday, you should follow the "three clear and three close" principles: clear the kitchen, clear the balcony, clear the corridor, turn off the fire source, turn off the power source, and turn off the gas source. After a power outage, cut off the power before going out to prevent accidents after the power is restored. Do not play with fire in any place, do not carry fire sources, fire tools, gunpowder, flammable and explosive items, try not to participate in outdoor activities such as picnics, barbecues, and fireworks, and in case of fire, please call 119 immediately.

3. Food Safety

Pay attention to food hygiene, do not drink raw water in the wild, do not eat spoiled food, do not eat food that is not cooked thoroughly, do not eat unfamiliar food in the wild, prevent food poisoning, maintain a reasonable and regular diet during the holiday, enjoy holiday delicacies in moderation, do not overeat; develop good hygiene habits, and prevent norovirus, gastroenteritis, and other infectious diseases.

4. Network Safety

Develop good habits, consciously and reasonably plan the use of electronic products, use the Internet safely and legally, use the Internet in a civilized and healthy way, do not participate in "pornography, gambling, and drugs" and feudal superstitious activities, do not browse violent and unhealthy websites, do not publish remarks on the Internet that violate national laws, regulations, and social morality, do not spread political rumors, and do not use the Internet to incite trouble. Protect personal information or contact information, prevent telecom and online fraud, consciously resist illegal fundraising and bad online loans, and do not participate in any form of illegal gatherings.

5. Hygiene Safety

Wash your hands frequently or use disinfectants after going out, returning home, and touching objects to prevent bacterial growth. Clothes should be changed and washed frequently. Doorknobs, desktops, and other surfaces that are frequently touched need to be cleaned daily. Keep the air circulating at home, wear a mask when going out, and prevent the spread of respiratory infectious diseases such as COVID-19 and influenza.

6. Reasonable Time Arrangement

Arrange your holiday schedule reasonably, go to bed early and get up early, and develop good living habits. Consciously and earnestly complete the holiday assignments assigned by the teacher; actively read beneficial extracurricular books and periodicals to enrich extracurricular knowledge; remind students to engage in appropriate physical exercise every day to enhance their physical fitness. Participate in more social and community public welfare activities and collective activities, learn to self-regulate, and enrich your holiday life.

7. Heatstroke Prevention

Remember to drink plenty of water when it is hot outdoors. After exercising and sweating a lot, replenish light salt water appropriately; arrange outdoor activities in the cooler morning and evening; avoid prolonged exposure to the sun; after sweating, remember to wipe off the sweat with a towel, do not immediately blow air conditioning, to avoid catching a cold.

8. Mosquito Prevention

Keeping the indoor environment clean and dry is the basis for preventing mosquitoes; try not to go to places with many mosquitoes; you can use mosquito nets or place insect-repelling plants at home, keep the surrounding environment cool and dry, and avoid breeding mosquitoes; once bitten, it is best not to scratch, use mosquito repellent and other drugs to reduce swelling and itching as soon as possible.

Flag-raising speech | Staying Healthy

On October 26, 2020, Zhuhai Yinghua Cambridge International School held a flag-raising ceremony. After the ceremony, Su Zhikang gave a speech titled "Staying Healthy." Zhang Yongqiang, the vice principal of logistics, then provided fire and electrical safety training for all teachers and students.
